There are different types of official translations in the UK, certified or notarised are just two examples.
Certified translations mean that, along with your translation, we will provide you with a signed and stamped declaration from Alphatrad. It will confirm that the project has been carried out by a professional, competent translator and that the translated text is accurate and complete.
Notarised translations include a declaration from a solicitor/notary public. This certification states that the translation has been completed to the best of the translators ability and that it’s accurate and complete. This declaration is sent by post from the notaries office with official stamps and there is only one original signed copy.
In other European countries sworn translators are authorised by the corresponding government to officially certify a translated document. Depending on your requirements, we can also work with our other European Optilingua counterparts to obtain sworn translations certified by the corresponding country.
